1993 Season (Freshman) Season Recap: Gained valuable playing experience appearing in 26 of 36 matches and 59 of 122 sets … recorded double-figures in kills and digs 3 times during the season … season highs of 14 kills vs. Georgia Tech (9/11), 26 digs vs. Nebraska (9/4); and 3 blocks vs. Southern Illinois (9/2).

NCAA Tournament: Played in 4 of the 5 matches played in the NCAA Toumament.

Before Penn State: Kammer was cited for her volleyball prowess on the national, state and local levels … as a senior at Burris HS, she was recognized as a 2nd-Team All-American … also featured in the Volleyball Monthly annual “Fab 50” listing … a 3-time all-state and all-conference selection, Kammer also received First-Team All-America recognition from the USVBA. .. her lengthy list of honors includes invitations to the 1992 Mizuno All-American All-Star match in Albuquerque, N.M., and the 1993 Mizuno Indiana All-Star match … a 4-time letterwinner, Kammer also boasts experience as a participant at the 1992 Junior Elite camp .. .played on Burris teams that won 161 of 162 matches over a 4-year period while capturing state championships in 1989, ’90 and ’92 … Burris was ranked No. 1 in the nation by Volleyball Monthly in 1992 … on the club level, Kammer played for Munciana, which placed 3rd at the 16-and-under nation al tournament in 1991 and 2nd at the 18-and under tournament in 1992.
