1994 Season (Sophomore) Season Recap: Played an important role on Russ Rose’s bench, earning a starting position on several occasions … saw action in 32 of 35 matches and 62 of 117 sets, averaging 2.74 kills/set and almost 1.95 digs/set … her most memorable performance of the year was a 19-kill/20-dig in a 5-set loss at Michigan State (11/5) … also tallied double-figure kills against the Spartans on 10/7 (10) and Northwestern on 10/25 (11) … recorded double-figure digs a total of 5 times.

Before Penn State: Kammer was cited for her volleyball prowess on the national, state and local levels … as a senior at Burris HS, she was recognized as a 2nd-Team All-American … also featured in the Volleyball Monthly annual “Fab 50” listing … a 3-time all-state and all-conference selection, Kammer also received First-Team All-America recognition from the USVBA. .. her lengthy list of honors includes invitations to the 1992 Mizuno All-American All-Star match in Albuquerque, N.M., and the 1993 Mizuno Indiana All-Star match … a 4-time letterwinner, Kammer also boasts experience as a participant at the 1992 Junior Elite camp .. .played on Burris teams that won 161 of 162 matches over a 4-year period while capturing state championships in 1989, ’90 and ’92 … Burris was ranked No. 1 in the nation by Volleyball Monthly in 1992 … on the club level, Kammer played for Munciana, which placed 3rd at the 16-and-under nation al tournament in 1991 and 2nd at the 18-and under tournament in 1992.
