Russ Rose Then (1995): “Angie has great experience and knowledge of the game, a good nose for the ball and an excellent understanding of what needs to be done to be successful. She needs to make sure that she’s in the type of physical shape that we can depend on for her to play not only a five-game match, but a 35-match schedule of 5-game matches. I think if she can get herself into that sort of physical condition, then she’s going to be the type of player that we really need. She’s clearly one of our leaders, and is critical to the team’s chances for success.”
