1991 Season (Senior) Highlights and Awards: Co-Captain … Academic All-Big Ten … her .286 Big Ten hitting % ranked 8th in the conference … averaged 3.45 digs/set, ranking 4th in the Big Ten.
Season Recap: Played in all 32 matches and 117 of 122 sets … totaled 261 kills (4th best on the team), 409 digs (2nd on the team), 23 service aces (2nd on the team), and 75 total blocks (4th on the team).
Before Penn State: A 1988 AAU All-American, Schuller was an all-state, All-Southwest Florida and all-conference selection her senior season at Cypress Lake HS in Fort Myers, Fla.,. .. the 1987 and 1988 Fort Myers News Press Female Athlete-of-the-Year, she also was the school’s Most Valuable Player … 3-time all conference pick, she earned All-Southwest Florida honors as a setter/hitter her junior year … played in the 1988 Mizuno East West All-Star match … received a scholar athlete award from the Fort Myers-South Rotary Club … member of the Southwest Florida junior volleyball team.
