Before Penn State: A 1988 AAU All-American, Schuller was an all-state, All-Southwest Florida and all-conference selection her senior season at Cypress Lake HS in Fort Myers, Fla.,. .. the 1987 and 1988 Fort Myers News Press Female Athlete-of-the-Year, she also was the school’s Most Valuable Player … 3-time all conference pick, she earned All-Southwest Florida honors as a setter/hitter her junior year … played in the 1988 Mizuno East West All-Star match … received a scholar athlete award from the Fort Myers-South Rotary Club … member of the Southwest Florida junior volleyball team.
