Season Recap: Played in all 45 matches and 123 0f 140 sets … posted 203 kills (5th best on the team) with a .313 hitting %, 251 digs (4th on the team), 67 blocks (5th on the team), and 28 service aces (tied for 3rd on the team) … posted season-highs of 15 kills against West Virginia in the A-10 Tournament Semifinal and 13 digs vs. Wisconsin in the NCAA Tournament Mideast Regional semifinal … was credited with 4 blocks twice … hit double-figures in digs 6 times.
Before Penn State: A 1988 AAU All-American, Schuller was an all-state, All-Southwest Florida and all-conference selection her senior season at Cypress Lake HS in Fort Myers, Fla.,. .. the 1987 and 1988 Fort Myers News Press Female Athlete-of-the-Year, she also was the school’s Most Valuable Player … 3-time all conference pick, she earned All-Southwest Florida honors as a setter/hitter her junior year … played in the 1988 Mizuno East West All-Star match … received a scholar athlete award from the Fort Myers-South Rotary Club … member of the Southwest Florida junior volleyball team.
