1989 Season (Sophomore) Highlights and Awards: Honorable-Mention All Atlantic 10 … voted A-10 Player of-the-Week after totaling 29 kills, 33 digs, 7 blocks and 12 assists at the Reebok Classic, where she was named to the All-Tournament team … named to the A-10 All-Tournament team.

Season Recap: Totaled 147 kills, 291 digs, 60 blocks and 32 service aces … .279 hitting % … registered 10 or more digs 12 times … season-highs: 13 kills vs. Central Michigan (11/11); 21 digs vs. Texas Arlington; 5 blocks (4 times) and 4 service aces vs. George Washington (10/6).

Before Penn State: A 1988 AAU All-American, Schuller was an all-state, All-Southwest Florida and all-conference selection her senior season at Cypress Lake HS in Fort Myers, Fla.,. .. the 1987 and 1988 Fort Myers News Press Female Athlete-of-the-Year, she also was the school’s Most Valuable Player … 3-time all conference pick, she earned All-Southwest Florida honors as a setter/hitter her junior year … played in the 1988 Mizuno East West All-Star match … received a scholar athlete award from the Fort Myers-South Rotary Club … member of the Southwest Florida junior volleyball team.
