Russ Rose Then (1993): “Angie was our most consistent backrow player last year. She was our big stopper. She’ll have more responsibility this year. We’ll need her to be more effective from the service line. Angie is as good a backrow player as we’ve ever had. She makes good plays every time she’s on the court.”
1993 Season (Senior) Season Recap: Played in all 36 matches and 120 of 122 sets … recored 185 digs and 20 service aces.
Before Penn State (University of Maryland): Farlow attended the University of Maryland during the 1989-90
academic year but did not compete on the volleyball team.
High School: Played as a setter, middle blocker and outside hitter at St. Elizabeth Seton HS and earned 3 letters … twice won First-Team all-county honors … also competed in 5 events in track and field, and was a starting guard for the basketball team … scored 27 points and was named MVP in a basketball all-star game in 1988 … served as captain of the volleyball and basketball teams her senior year.
