1990 Season (RS Freshman) Season Recap: Evolved into one of Penn State’s premier backrow specialists in 1990 .. . played in 31 of 45 matches and 38 of 140 sets .. . recorded 36 digs and 6 service aces.

NCAA Tournament: Played in all 3 NCAA Tournament contests … posted a season-high 5 digs vs. Purdue in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament (11/29).

Before Penn State (University of Maryland): Farlow attended the University of Maryland during the 1989-90 academic year but did not compete on the volleyball team.

High School: Played as a setter, middle blocker and outside hitter at St. Elizabeth Seton HS and earned 3 letters … twice won First-Team all-county honors … also competed in 5 events in track and field, and was a starting guard for the basketball team … scored 27 points and was named MVP in a basketball all-star game in 1988 … served as captain of the volleyball and basketball teams her senior year.
