1991 Season (RS Sophomore) Season Recap: Farlow topped the statistical totals she posted in 1990 (her first year in the program) by tallying 95 digs and 11 service aces in 1991 … played in all 32 matches, including both NCAA Tournament contests, and 84 of 121 sets … had a season and career-high 12 digs vs. Ohio State (9/28).
Before Penn State (University of Maryland): Farlow attended the University of Maryland during the 1989-90 academic year but did not compete on the volleyball team.
High School: Played as a setter, middle blocker and outside hitter at St. Elizabeth Seton HS and earned 3 letters … twice won First-Team all-county honors … also competed in 5 events in track and field, and was a starting guard for the basketball team … scored 27 points and was named MVP in a basketball all-star game in 1988 … served as captain of the volleyball and basketball teams her senior year.
