Season Recap: Played in 30 of 36 matches and 82 of 128 sets … ranked 2nd on the team with 8.85 assists/set … tied for 3rd on the team with 2.35 digs/set … ranked 5th on the team with 0.71 blocks/set … totaled 15 service aces for the season. Appeared in 80 games … started 16 of the 29 matches she competed in, all at the setter position … shared setting duties with Jess Hayden … second on the team in assists with 726 … led team in assists in 15 matches on the year … season-high assist total of 61 came at Michigan (10/7) … opened season with a 10-kill effort vs. UCLA (8/25) … led the team in digs in 4 matches with her highest ( 18) at Iowa (11/3) … led the team in total blocks (3) against No. 1 UCLA (8/25) … set a career-highs in aces with 3 against Northwestern (11/10) and blocks (6) vs. No. 17 Ohio State (11/11) … had at least 1 dig in 22 ofthe 27 matches … recorded 1 of 2 triple-doubles by Penn Staters this season with 12 kills, 43 assists and 18 digs at Iowa (11/3) … recorded 7 double-double efforts on the year … started at setter for the Lions in each of the last 6 matches … posted a season high 12 kills at Iowa (11/3) … had 7 double-figure dig matches … recorded a season-high 6 blocks vs. Ohio State (11/18).
NCAA Tournament: Made 1st career postseason start in opening round vs. James Madison (12/1) … tallied 6 kills while hitting .462 versus the Dukes … dished out 40 assists while directing the Nittany Lion offense in the win over James Madison and added 6 blocks … came off the bench in 2nd round match against Washington State (12/12) and recorded 1 kill and eight assists in limited action … totaled an assist and 3 digs in Lions’ 3-0 loss at Southern California in the Pacific Regional Final.

Before Penn State: At Dallastown High School, was named the Gatorade Pennsylvania Player of the Year in both 1997 and 1998; named to Volleyball Magazine’s 1998 “Fab 50” team; an All-State and All-District selection in 1996 and 1997, as she led the Wildcats to the state finals in both years; 1996 and 1997 York Daily Record Player of the Year; was team captain her junior and senior seasons; alternate on the 1996 U.S. Junior National Team; named Gatorade Circle of Champions Mid-Atlantic Regional Player of the Year in 1996 and 1997; won the 1998 Shipley Special Achievement Award and the 1997 Shipley Distinguished Achievement Award; also played shortstop and center field on the softball team for four years.
