Season Recap: Played in all 45 matches and all 140 sets in the 1990 season … totaled 1,966 assists, 56 shy of the NCAA Division 1 record … guided the team to a .368 hitting % … racked up 190 kills (.319 hitting percentage) … led the team with 43 service aces … posted 299 digs (3rd on the team) … tallied 109 total blocks (3rd on the team).
Before Penn State: Member of the gold medal team at the 1987 Olympic Sports Festival .. . was listed as a “freshman to watch” by Volleyball Monthly … four-year letterwinner as a setter and hitter at Winston Churchill HS in Potomac, Md., where the team won the East Coast championship her senior year.
