Before Penn State: Member of the gold medal team at the 1987 Olympic Sports Festival .. . was listed as a “freshman to watch” by Volleyball Monthly … four-year letterwinner as a setter and hitter at Winston Churchill HS in Potomac, Md., where the team won the East Coast championship her senior year.
