Season Recap: Led the Atlantic 10 in assists with 11.09 per set .. . underwent surgery after tearing knee ligaments in the final match of the regular-season … her absence was a key factor in Penn State’s loss to Purdue in the first-round of the NCAA Tournament … posted season totals of 94 kills, 270 digs and 89 blocks.
Before Penn State: Member of the gold medal team at the 1987 Olympic Sports Festival .. . was listed as a “freshman to watch” by Volleyball Monthly … 4-year letterwinner as a setter and hitter at Winston Churchill HS in Potomac, Md., where the team won the East Coast championship her senior year.
