Russ Rose Then (1996): “I thought Lindsay had an incredible number of injuries last year. She started for us in our (NCAA) match with Georgia Tech, and I thought she was one of the main reasons that we beat them as easily as we did. In my opinion this is a make or break season for Lindsay. She is either going to remain healthy and have the ability to come in with the confidence to go with her physical tools or she’ll continue to be a substitute that will be hot and cold in big situations. It is obvious that Lindsay is very strong. She spent a lot of time in the weight room and has the size and strength to compete at a high level. Hopefully this will be her year.”
Russ Rose Now (2025): “Lindsay was a strong athlete and outside attacker. She had a heavy hand and was aggressive with how she played the game. She had some injuries that held her back at times, but she was a very important contributor to the program.”
1996 Season (Redshirt Season): Anderson saw limited playing time at the beginning of the year, competing in 7 matches at outside hitter … posted season-highs with 7 kills, 4 digs and 4 blocks vs. Memphis (9/1) … received a medical redshirt due to a season-ending abdominal injury.
