Russ Rose Then (2016): “Laura is coming off of an injury that prevented her from playing last year. She always plays hard and is quick and aggressive. I feel she has good energy that fires the team up.”
Russ Rose Now (2026): “I first saw Bro when I went to recruit Haleigh Washington in Colorado. Bro also had a number of sisters that played, and her club coach, who I respected, spoke highly of her. She came to Penn State and was a great competitor and teammate. She practiced hard every day, possessed great energy, and had exceptional speed to the ball. Unfortunately, she had a couple of injuries that held her back. She married a practice player with us, and they’re raising a family. I’m a big fan of Laura Broerman.”
