Russ Rose Then (2014): “She’s had some injuries that have slowed her down a little bit, but I think she’s quick and she has a good aggressive attitude and I want her to play more like that.”
Russ Rose Now (2026): “I first saw Bro when I went to recruit Haleigh Washington in Colorado. Bro also had a number of sisters that played, and her club coach, who I respected, spoke highly of her. She came to Penn State and was a great competitor and teammate. She practiced hard every day, possessed great energy, and had exceptional speed to the ball. Unfortunately, she had a couple of injuries that held her back. She married a practice player with us, and they’re raising a family. I’m a big fan of Laura Broerman.”
