Season Recap: Played in 31 of 32 matches and 96 of 100 sets … her 234 digs ranked 4th on the team (one dig behind Lauren Cook, who played 1 more match and 3 more sets).
Before Penn State: : Spencer earned 12 letters in volleyball, basketball and softball at Elderton HS … an All-State, all-section and all-league selection as a setter, she led Elderton to the 1988 state and league titles … the volleyball team won 89 of 98 matches during her career…selected to compete in the 1989 East West all-star match … an all-section basketball point guard, she also played centerfield for the softball team … competed for the Willow Pond junior team … valedictorian of her senior class.
