Russ Rose Then (2001): “I think Tabitha has a good feel for and knowledge of the game. She is explosive defensively and I think she is the kind of kid that wants to get in the fray and mix it up.”
Russ Rose Now (2025): “Tabitha had great skills, was very explosive, and had no fear. She redshirted her first year and then played for us the next four seasons. Her love for the game was infectious. She went on and continued as a club coach and is still a club coach today in Pennsylvania. A lot of our success back in those years was based on getting those walk-on kids, those backrow players who were small in size, but made great contributions because they cared and they really wanted to be successful. Back then I said that Tab was a player who had been at Penn State for 5 years and I would have taken her for 10 more. It says alot about her that someone like me said that about her back then.”
