1988 Season (Freshman) Season Recap: Adjusted to the fast pace of collegiate volleyball, honing her skills as a backup hitter … earned playing time in 8 matches in September and October … recorded a season-high 5 kills against Providence.
Before Penn State: Boner won all-county honors as a middle blocker/outside hitter at Dallastown Area HS in 1986 and 1987 … competed in the 1986 and 1988 USVBA Junior Nationals and 1987-88 AAU Junior Olympics … twice won the Most Valuable Player award and served as captain her senior year. .. member of the South Pennsylvania junior team … also competed in track.
