Penn State has released its 2009 Women’s Volleyball Prospectus, which includes the season schedule, 2009 Team Roster, and a breakdown of team members by Class, Position, and State/Country.

The breakdown by Position is as follows:

Setters (4): Carpenter, Glass, Racibarskas, Shifflett
Libero/Def. Specialists (5): D’Errico, Quilico, Shifflett, Tice, Ullrich
Middle Hitters (4): Balza, Brown, Ream, Wilson
Outside Hitters (LS/RS) (4): Brown, Dorton, Hodge, Kabbes.

The Prospectus appears to clear up some confusion regarding newcomer Kristin Carpenter, who was listed by Penn State in a previously released roster as an outside hitter, but is listed in the Prospectus as a setter/backrow.
