What’s an undefeated, #-ranked, swept both its opponents over the weekend, showing more energy and enthusiasm (that even drew praise from its head coach) Penn State Women’s Volleyball team to do? With all that, the Nittany Lions dropped a first place vote in the most recent AVCA Poll, and was listed as having two losses (last we checked, they were 22-0; wishful thinking, AVCA?).

Actually, we doubt the Penn State players and coaches give any of that even a second’s thought. They have Ohio State coming to Rec Hall tomorrow evening (7:00 pm ET, Big Ten Network, Live), nine more matches after that, and then, ideally, six more matches in the NCAA Tournament. But who’s counting? Obviously not someone at the AVCA.
