Kendall White, a 5-7 L/DS on the Cathedral High School (Indianapolis, IN) Fighting Irish volleyball team, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for Penn State in 2016.  PrepVolleyball.com named Kendall as its #38 Senior Ace in 2016, describing her as “a  gritty game-changer,” a libero “who wants every ball and has the confidence to know that she will get the job done every time.”  Her coach, Jean Kesterson, has described her as having an “intense competitive spirit [that] is well beyond her years,” and as “the best freshman libero I have ever seen in Indiana in more than 25 years of coaching high school volleyball. . . . She just has it.”

According to Cathedral High School’s website, after leading the 2012 Cathedral team with 372 digs, ranking second on the team with 46 assists, and first with 54 service aces, Kendall earned a spot on the 2013 Class 4A all-state Second Team and was named to the all-city First Team.  Her coach, Jean Kesterson, has described her as having an “intense competitive spirit [that] is well beyond her years,” and as “the best freshman libero I have ever seen in Indiana in more than 25 years of coaching high school volleyball. . . . She just has it.”
