1990 Season (RS Sophomore) Highlights and Awards: Was one of 6 student-athletes voted to the Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference team … an electrical engineering major who boasts a near-perfect cumulative grade-point average, Robinson is a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society and National Society of Black Engineers … a nominee for Phi Beta Kappa, she is enrolled in the University Scholars program … has been awarded 6 scholarships since enrolling at Penn State, 1 each from General Electric Foundation, Dow Chemical and American Express … was the team’s representative to the Student-Athlete Advisory Board of the Academic Support Center for Student-Athletes.

Before Penn State: Robinson served as captain of the volleyball, basketball and softball teams at Providence Catholic HS, where she won all-area and all-conference honors in all three sports … a leftside hitter, she was recognized in a listing of top 50 players by a Midwest volleyball publication … won athlete-of-the-year and scholastic-athlete awards.
