Russ Rose in 1987: “Fergie’s a real good server and a real confident player. We feel really good about the way she contributes in the back row.”
Russ Rose Now (2026): “Fergie was another tough kid from Western PA who attended North Allegheny High School. Those guys were ballers that wanted to come in and play. She was a backrow player who could serve, pass, and defend, and like Denise Navoney and Judy McDonough, they all were in the gym doing the same thing, helping us get better.”
