I knew that the players that played for him were tough, and they were always held to high expectations, and they needed to be accountable and responsible. When I was recruiting Kendall, she was with the top team, and I just remember during timeouts she was talking more than the coach. I can’t say enough about Kendall. She was as advertised. She went hard every day, and she was a terrific leader. She has continued her career with time in the USA gym as well as playing professionally.”

Season: Played in all 34 matches and 121 sets … posted 500 digs, 81 assists and 13 aces … vs. West Virginia (8/26): led team with 16 digs in collegiate debut … vs. North Carolina (8/27): finished with 17 digs … at Colorado (9/3): totaled 18 digs … vs. Stanford (9/4): posted first career 20-dig performance with 22 … Minnesota (10/5): recorded a match-high 21 digs and added 4 assists … Michigan (10/22): notched 23 digs and a season-high 7 assists … Wisconsin (10/28): contributed 16 digs … Minnesota (10/29): registered 15 digs … Nebraska (11/4): posted a career-high 32 digs against the #1-ranked Huskers … Maryland (11/11): tallied 19 digs, 3 assists and one ace. … Ohio State (11/12): recorded 23 digs.
NCAA Tournament: in NCAA First Round match vs. LIU (12/2) posted 18 digs and 2 assists … in NCAA Second Round match vs. Pitt (12/3): notched 18 digs and six assists in the 3-1 win … in an NCAA Regional Semifinal game at Nebraska (12/9) posted 26 digs, four assists and one ace in a five-set defeat.
Before Penn State: Was a 4-year letterwinner at Cathedral … as the team’s libero, helped the Irish become the first Indiana 4A team to post an undefeated record (36-0) in 2015 on the way to an Indiana Class 4A state title … earned Indiana all-state first team honors from 2014-16, as well as second-team laurels in 2013 … picked up all-city honors from 2013-16 … served as team captain at Cathedral in 2015-16, earning team MVP honors in 2016 … selected as the Indy Star Player of the Year and Cathedral’s High School Female Athlete of the Year in 2015-16 … named Indiana’s volleyball Gatorade State Player of the Year in 2015-16 … earned 2015 PrepVolleyball.com High School All-America honors … selected to the American Family Insurance ALL-USA volleyball team in 2015 … played club volleyball with Munciana, earning AAU All-America accolades in 2015-16.
