Russ Rose Then (2014): “Heidi is a player who we have had in camp for a number of years. She’s played most of her game as a middle. I think her strength is her blocking and I think she plays hard.”
Russ Rose Now (2026): “Heidi was kind of a right-side/middle player who could be inserted at either position. When she was playing right-side, she was able to score on serve reception by hitting out of the middle. And when she was in the middle, she could go behind as well as score in front of the setter. Heidi played a big role as a net player and starter for us and had great energy and a good spirit. She was a great team player the whole time that she was here at Penn State.”
