Season Recap: Was an AIAW All-American gymnast in 1978 (vault) and a member of the 1978 AIAW National Championship team.

Before Penn State: Born in the Philadelphia area, she graduated from State College Area High School in 1977.  Daughter of the legendary soccer player and coach Walter Bahr, and Davies Ann Bahr, who was a championship swimmer at Temple University and helped organize the inaugural Keystone State Games.
