Russ Rose Then (2015): “Carley has really improved and plays hard. She has not played as much to date, but I felt she had a really good spring.”
Russ Rose Now (2026): “Carley came from an exceptional high school and club program in Southern California. She brought great awareness of the game, and she was fearless as a server, defender, and passer. She made really positive contributions, although in a limited role because we had so many players that were similar in what they did for the team. But I always knew that if I put her in, she wasn’t going to be intimidated by the size of the moment. She stayed all four years, got married to a player on the men’s team, and they have started a family.”
