Blair Brown Wins Co-Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week

 

The Big Ten announced today that Blair Brown was named Co-Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week.  Below is the release from the Big Ten.

Brown averaged 5.6 kills and 2.0 digs per set in Penn State’s weekend wins to claim her first Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season and the second in her career. She led the team in kills in wins over Indiana and Purdue, including a career-high 23 Saturday night against the Boilermakers. The senior finished with 16 spikes against Indiana before her career-night against Purdue, which also included 13 digs. Brown recorded 39 kills on the weekend and registered a .345 hitting percentage.
