Russ Rose Now (2026): Anne played at Sweet Home high school, one of the top high school programs in the country at the time [from 1978 to 1987, Sweet Home was unbeaten in 292 consecutive matches (291 wins and one tie)] for one of the top high school coaches in the country [Sally Kus, who compiled a 792-29 career record and won 15 consecutive Far West Regional titles, as well as 20 consecutive Section VI Class A championships.]. They were good and she was a really well-skilled setter and player, a great teammate, and has gone on to coach volleyball and do a variety of things. She was really good.
