1989 Season (RS Freshman) Season Recap: came off the bench to play in 13 matches and took 40 swings at the ball, recording 14 kills and a .150 hitting % … tallied 20 digs and 6 blocks … was the team’s representative on the Student Athlete Advisory Board, which serves as a liaison between the athletic teams and the Academic Support Center for Student Athletes at Penn State.
Before Penn State: Robinson was the captain of the volleyball, basketball and softball teams at Providence Catholic HS, where she won all-area and all-conference honors in all three sports … a leftside hitter, she was recognized in a listing of top 50 players by a Midwest volleyball publication … won athlete-of-the-year and scholastic-athlete awards.
