Russ Rose Then (1990): “Sue had a great preseason and worked herself into a starting role last year but didn’t maintain it. She was looking very good, but didn’t have the confidence that is necessary to perform at a high level on a consistent basis. Hopefully, her experience at the National Sports Festival will change all that and she’ll be ready. Physically, she’s a big, strong girl. For us to be successful, we need Sue on the floor doing what she does best.”
