Mary Rose Sava

Mary Rose Sava #12 DS/Setter 5’5″

Russ Rose in 1987: “Mary Rose is a strong server and a tough competitor.  She has always worked hard. She’s a kid you can depend on to perform specific things. She doesn’t try to do more than she’s physically capable of doing and that’s good.”

Russ Rose Now (2026): “Mary Rose was from Farrell High School and was a backrow player and backup setter.  In 1987, when our starting setter, Michelle Jaworski, was injured late in the season, Mary Rose set for us in the NCAA Tournament and did a fine job. She was a good player with a tough serve who I could always count on to come in and play well.”
