Russ Rose Then (2019): “Amanda needs to continue to develop. She has had to battle a couple of injuries. If she can get through those physical challenges she can make great contributions for us. She has a great arm and is especially good off of one foot. I thought at times during the spring she was our top attacker. We’re going to need that sort of production from her as we enter into the season.”
Russ Rose Now (2026): “Amanda was a really talented player from the Tampa area. She played with Jenna Hampton and was a very good attacker. She could play middle and right side. She came in the same year as Kaitlyn Hord, Serena Gray, and Jonni Parker, so there was a lot of competition for those positions. We had conversations after her sophomore season where I said there were other places where she could go and make a way bigger contribution. She ended up transferring to North Carolina and was really a valuable player there. She was a good, solid kid, who had a great arm and worked hard.”

Yonge Development Research School for her freshman and sophomore years … went 60-3 in her 2 years, winning the 3A Florida State Championship in 2014, and the 4A title in 2015.
