2014 Season (Freshman): 2014 National Champion … tallied an ace against Eastern Illinois (9/19) … saw action on the court against DePaul (9/19) and against No. 15 Illinois (10/11).
Did not play for Penn State in subsequent seasons.
High School: (Courtesy of UCLABruins.com) “Dykstra was a four-year starter at outside hitter at Redondo Union High School in Redondo Beach, Calif. … had 328 kills, 460 digs, 51 blocks and 47 aces as a senior, earning First Team All-CIF honors … was also named Player of the Year by the Daily Breeze and Volleyball Now, the California Gatorade POY and a High School First Team All-American … helped the Sea Hawks to a 1-AA CIF Runner-Up finish and a third-place showing at State in 2012 … was a two-time team captain for RUHS … also named All-CIF her other three seasons … was named the #54 Prep Volleyball Senior Ace … coached by Tommy Chaffins … most recently played club with Sports Shack with coaches Tim Jensen, Chris McGee and Marcio Sicoli … played libero and won gold at the 18’s National Open.”
