Russ Rose Then (2015): “Kendall does a variety of things for us. She’s one of our captains this year and I know she cares a lot about the program. She’s improved each year, as far as what role she’s capable of playing and contributed and she’ll certainly be in the mix at the libero spot.”
Russ Rose Now (2025): “Kendall’s father played for the men’s team and her mother ran track-and-field, so you know she and her siblings were destined to come to Penn State. Her dad was a very successful coach and player so she came in with a lot of knowledge about how she could help the team. She was an experienced player who knew how to play the game. She was a good passer, a good server, a good defensive player, and she was always dependable. I always had confidence in Kendall when it was time to put her into a match where we wanted to change things up. In 2014, in the National Semifinal match against Stanford, she went in and had a career high in digs.”
