Russ Rose Then (2015): “Lara has not played a lot, but she has always played hard and she’s been a good student-athlete. She has always placed Penn State volleyball as one of her priorities and her behavior exemplifies that.”

Russ Rose Now (2025): “Laura was homeschooled and came from a good club program.  She didn’t play a lot, but she stayed with the program all 4 years, and  always worked hard while she was on the team. She was a great representative of the program, always trying to find ways to make a contribution. She’s working now with club kids in the Pittsburg area, and I’m sure she’s equally successful.”
