Russ Rose Then (2014): “Dom knows what she has to do defensively to give us the best chance to succeed. She has played a similar role since she’s come in as the libero in 2011 and knows that she needs to continue to embrace the importance of leadership and getting the younger players aware of the expectations for the future as well as continuing to keep her game strong as a passer.”
Russ Rose Now (2025): “Dom was one of my favorite people in the program as she always wanting to know how she could help the team and what she could do to be better. She was an incredible passer, and was tough defensively. She made great contributions to the program while she was here, and after she graduated, she went into college coaching for a few years. She has since retired from college coaching and is active in her former club back in Texas and is raising her son. Dom was a really valuable leader of the team. She was one of those examples that captains might be elected, but leaders emerge. I was always really proud of how Dom cared about the team and was always working on her craft.”
