Russ Rose Then (2005): “Ashley is a utility player for us in that she can be called upon to play both front row and backrow positions, depending on what the situation dictates. She trains hard and is a team player.”
Russ Rose Now (2025): “Ashley was a well-skilled player with good strength, but she had some injuries that limited her reps. Her time here also coincided with some other players like Ashley Pederson and Syndie Nadeau who were playing in front of her. She was another person who was at Penn State for the right reasons. She always had a big smile on her face, she came to practice and worked hard, and she was really a marvelous representative of the program and her family, and was a real positive person for the program.”
