Syndie Nadeau

Syndie Nadeau #1 OH 5”11″

Russ Rose Then (2002): “Syndie had a good transition year.  We were at one point thinking of redshirting her, but we felt she needed to play.  Syndie has a great feel for the game and is a mature competitor.  She brings a good flavor to the team.  Syndie provides a lot of positive things and I thought she did well in the spring.  She is a good volleyball player and a good athlete.  She needs to use her experience and her competitive intelligence to have success and we will depend on her experience as a player who always competes hard.”

Russ Rose Now (2025): “Syndie developed into a really good player. What I liked about Syndie was that even though she wasn’t real physical, she had an excellent volleyball IQ and played a very good all-around game. In 2004, she was our first-ever AVCA National Player of the Week. I said back then that I would recruit her again because I really enjoyed coaching her and I knew she was going to get her degree in engineering and use it. After college she returned to Canada and is working now for Siemens.”
