Penn State downs Nebraska 3-1 (25-21, 14-25, 25-22, 25-23) to grab a share of the Big Ten title.
Co-Big Ten Champions! What made it possible was Penn State’s 3-1 win over Nebraska (25-21, 14-25, 25-22, 25-23) at Rec Hall, led by a career night from Caroline Jurevicius (18 kills, .414 hitting), and a crowd of 6597 (OK, a few were from Nebraska, but MOST were rooting for Penn State).
In addition to Jurevicius’s big night, Camryn Hannah totaled 12 kills, Jess Mruzik put down 10 kills, Izzy Starck and Maggie Mendelson both posted 6 blocks, Taylor Trammell finished with 4 blocks, Izzy Starck dished out 46 assists, and four players registered double-digit digs: Gillian Grimes (12 digs), Izzy Starck (11 digs), Ava Falduto (10 digs), and Jess Mruzik (10 digs).
Nice work, Penn State Volleyball, nice work.
