“We have a lot of experienced players, but we are going to have to improve our back line play and overall defense to compensate for our lack of height,” coach Tom Tait says. Leading the list of returning players are captain Jeanne Prusak and senior Terry Wilson, both starters last year. Prusak (5-7) is a former Lady Lion long jumper and the team’s sparkplug, according to Tait. Wilson, a 5-3 acrobatic back line specialist, played this summer in a California league. Setters Cindy Brennan and Nancy McLaughlin also are returning after running the team’s multiple offense last year. “Cindy and Nancy are both very good athletes and should be team leaders,” Tait says.
