Committed to Penn State on April 18, 2026 … was previously committed to Ohio State before flipping her verbal to the Nittany Lions … Kalczynski ranked as the No. 13 overall prospect in the 2027 recruiting class, per Prep Dig … played for Mercy High School in Farmington Hills, Michigan and Legacy Volleyball Club — the same high school and club as  2024 NCAA national champion Jess Mruzik … in the 2025 Michigan State Championship run for Mercy, she had 16 kills, including the match winner, and 12 digs in the 2025 MHSAA Division I state title match, a 3-1 win over Bloomfield Hills … Kalczynski also won a state title with the Marlins as a freshman in 2023 … her mother, Angela (Morley) Kalczynski,  who was a middle blocker at Michigan State,  (and played against Head Coach Katie Schumacher-Cawley) was named first-team All- Big Ten as a senior in 2002. Her father played baseball for the Spartans.
