Tabitha Eshleman

Tabitha Eshleman #3 DS 5’4″

Russ Rose Then (2003): “Tab has played a significant amount of her time at Penn State and I have great confidence that she is quick to the ball.  She has developed skills and her major strength is that she has confidence in every aspect of the game.  She needs to work on her serve, but she is a good passer and defensive player, and she is solid as a person.  She comes to practice every day and works hard, she is pleasant with everyone she interacts with, and she is just a marvelous young person.  There are never enough players like Tab in the program.”

Russ Rose Now (2025): “Tabitha had great skills, was very explosive, and had no fear. She redshirted her first year and then played for us the next four seasons. Her love for the game was infectious. She went on and continued as a club coach and is still a club coach today in Pennsylvania.  A lot of our success back in those years was based on getting those walk-on kids, those backrow players who were small in size, but made great contributions because they cared and they really wanted to be successful.  Back then I said that Tab was a player who had been at Penn State for 5 years and I would have taken her for 10 more.  It says alot about her that someone like me said that about her back then.”
