Russ Rose Then (1994): “Tomuke is the same type of energetic person that Salima Davidson is. She’s incredibly upbeat. She’s a positive person that cares more for the team than she does for herself. Tomuke will redshirt her first year because of the academic scholarship she’s receiving. She’s a great athlete and I think the things she brings to the team are the intangibles such as being a great person. She’s just a very competitive person with great maturity. She’s very similar to Salima as a person so she should be able to help us out a lot in the transition year.”
Russ Rose Now (2025): “Tomuke was a hitter when she was in club and high school volleyball, and she was a really good basketball player. When she was young, she played against Allen Iverson and some of those individuals in the Maryland/Virginia area. But she came to Penn State as a backrow player. She was very physical and very bright. And she was really, really competitive and high-energy all the time. Tomuke was a good teammate — she spent a lot of time just keeping the team focused and loose.”
1994 Season (Redshirt Season) Season Recap: 1994 was a redshirt season for Tomuke, so she did not play in any matches.

What Her Teammates Said: “She’s someone who would do anything to help somebody out. That’s what makes her such a great person.” Junior opposite hitter and roommate Lindsay Anderson.
