Russ Rose Then (2002): “Jennifer is a player who we are going to seek some contributions from this year.  It’s going to be a transition year for her coming from Marquette and the system they use to coming to Penn State and being with a new system and group of people.  Jen is a very physical player and we are going to have to work to find the best place to implement her, whether it’s as an outside hitter or a middle hitter.  She likes to swing at the ball and we need to provide opportunities for her to be able to highlight her strengths.”

Russ Rose Now (2025): “Jennifer was a physical player who could jump and hit the ball hard and was really good at the net. There were some other players that were a little stronger and who had different skills, so even though she was a good player, she didn’t get a lot of playing time. Her playing style was similar to Nia Reed, in that she could come in and take a big swing. She was a solid player and a good team player.”
