Shannon Bortner #14 Setter 5’11”

Russ Rose Then (1998): “Shannon is going to be a very good setter. She possesses great technique and she has a solid frame. She’s going to have to learn how to lead at this level and she’s going to have to get much more physical. We intend to redshirt Shannon and feel that she will gain a great deal as Bonnie’s understudy [Bonnie Bremner].”

Russ Rose Now (2025): “Shannon was a well-skilled setter/right side, who always had a smile on her face and a zest for life. Big hands, good skills.  Huge smile! Happy-go-lucky, and a really good person. Went on to have a great extended career as a high school and club coach in Pennsylvania.  She was a valuable contributor.”
