`Russ Rose Then (2004): “Tab is a player who has been here for five years and I would take her for 10 more. She gives more than she ever takes and she cares about the team more than she ever cares about herself. She is quick to the ball and is a hard worker in the classroom, the gym, and the weight room, as well as being a tireless volunteer in the community. Any time the team needs something done, Tab is willing to do it. There are very few people who are so willing to do things for others, but she really steps up and is that kind of individual.”
Russ Rose Now (2025): “Tabitha had great skills, was very explosive, and had no fear. She redshirted her first year and then played for us the next four seasons. Her love for the game was infectious. She went on and continued as a club coach and is still a club coach today in Pennsylvania. A lot of our success back in those years was based on getting those walk-on kids, those backrow players who were small in size, but made great contributions because they cared and they really wanted to be successful. Back then I said that Tab was a player who had been at Penn State for 5 years and I would have taken her for 10 more. It says alot about her that someone like me said that about her back then.”
2004 Season (Redshirt Senior): Big Ten Sportsmanship Award winner … played in 106 sets, totaling 16 service aces (5th on the team), and 270 digs (4th on the team).
2002 Season (Redshirt Sophomore)
2001 Season (Redshirt Freshman)
Before Penn State: A 3-year starter at setter at Greencastle-Antrim High School and a 4-year letter winner … also lettered for 4-years in basketball and started at point guard for three seasons … led Greencastle-Antrim to the Mid-Pennsylvania Colonial Volleyball Championship in 1997, 1998, and 1999 … named to the Mid-Pennsylvania All-Star First Team in 1997, 1998, and 1999 … selected to the Pennsylvania All-State Second Team in 1998.
