Russ Rose Now (2025): Lindsay was a strong athlete and outside attacker. She had a heavy hand and was aggressive with how she played the game.  She had some injuries that held her back at times, but she was a very important contributor to the program.

Before Penn State: Anderson was a three-year starter for the Crystal Lake Central H.S. volleyball team; was recognized as a 1993 Chicago Sun-Times and Champaign Gazette first-team All State member and AAU All-American; a Chicago Tribune second-team All-State selection; Anderson led the Tigers to the Fox Valley Conference title; she played on the North Squad in the 1993 Chicago Sun-Times high school all-star match; Anderson participated in the USVBA Junior Olympics in 1992 and 1993, playing for the Sky High Volleyball Club; Anderson also played softball for the Tigers, starting at catcher and first base.
