The US Women ended a wet and windy week in Chinese Taipei ranked 8th in the World Grand Prix, losing to the undefeated and #2-ranked Netherlands (3-2) and #4-ranked Germany (3-0), and defeating 12th-ranked Dominican Republic (3-2).

The US Women will resume World Grand Prix competition in Bankok, Thailand taking on Russia (Friday, August 14th, followed by Puerto Rico (Saturday, August 15th), and Thailand (Sunday, August 16th).
