Russ Rose Then (1999): “Tina is a backrow player that we have high expectations for in the future.  She needs to continue to concentrate and focus on the things that are necessary to contribute at this level.  She needs to improve the quality of her serve and make sure that she’s ready to play on a moment’s notice.”

Russ Rose Now (2025): “Tina was a tough backrow player from Chicago.  She had good skills, great energy, and always worked hard.  She was one of those players that makes your team better.”

Before Penn State: A three-year starter for Marian Catholic; named a captain her senior season; led squad to conference title each of her four years; Spartans advanced to Sweet 16 in 1996 and were regional champions each of the last two seasons; MVP of Maria Invitational in 1994.
